Health System

Focus is given to the system underpinning health care provision. Under this topic, inpatient health care provision is examined, as is the outpatient care provided by hospitals, doctors’ practices, and pharmacists, etc. The analyses take into account the demand side as well as conditions governing the supply side of health care provision. The interfaces between the various health care structures are of particular interest. In addition, regional differences are investigated to determine how adequate therapy frequencies are in the different regions (over- or undersupply).
