Health Professionals

Obsan examines the workforce of the current health care provision in outpatient and inpatient care and forecasts trends in the number of professionals. It makes models available that estimate future demand at both national and regional level. This information can be used as a basis for the long-term planning and management of the workforce in the health care sector. The focus of this work is on the nursing and medical staff. Subject to data availability, Obsan also analyses other groups of health care professionals.
